More than three decades ago, private schooling in Pakistan gained impetus with the demand for progressive, international standards in education from all sectors of society.
The Progressive Education Society was formed thirty two years ago to provide an option for parents who wanted a specific combination of discipline and scholastic excellence.
The Society opened its first school with the name of Progressive Public School in 1983 in the heart of city Dhoraji Colony, Karachi, followed by Razi Road (P.E.C.H.S). The schools have flourished under the leadership of Mr. Yahya Khan with 26 of experience in the field of education and the CEO Mrs. Zahida Khan with 34 years of teaching experience.
Mrs. Khan’s experience included 3 ½ years as an instructor for US diplomats in the Foreign Services Institute for the US State Department.
